Lana Schwartz is a writer who was born and raised in New York City where she continues to live today.

She was previously a contributor to StarWipe, and currently contributes to The Whiskey Journal. She's also written for he New Yorker, The Hairpin, Splitsider, Above Average, The Toast, Mental Floss, and other sites around the internet.

Together with her writing partner and high school best friend Ilana Michelle Rubin, she creates videos as one half of Nanners Comedy. They also host the monthly variety show My Hometown, which has been featured on theskint, and an Annual Chanukahstravangza show that was written up in the New York Times.
